POET'S POETRY REPORT

Choose a poet that you especially appreciate and would like to share with the class. Look under the link in projects entitled "poetry."

Audio-Visual presentation

Research and outline your poet's life. Take careful notes. Do not copy word for word.
Concentrate on the aspects of his or her life that influenced his or her poetry the most.
The outline should be complete enough to use for an oral presentation.

Choose five (5) of your favorite poems by your poet. Prepare an audio-visual presentation of these poems for the class by taking slides, cutting out pictures, drawing, and/or finding music that will enhance the meaning of the poems. Include your 5 selected poems in a creative, colorful and artistic manner. You could do a power point presentation.

You may also want to discuss the poems in terms of rhyme scheme, similes, metaphors, personification, etc.

Please make your presentation neat and colorful!
