About this guide: The entries in this guide were written by 6th grade students at Bret Harte Middle School, in Oakland, California. The teachers were Anthony Cody and Sarah Fairchild. The primary reference students used was the Guidebook to Pacific Intertidal Life, by Ron Russo and Pam Olhausen. The photographs were taken by Anthony Cody.
